Airport Tips

*This is continued on from instagram* At this point in my life I would say I am an airport queen. This month especially I have the vibes of "why do I even have an apartment". (My family actually always jokes that I have to go to my apartment and I can not just live in a hotel the rest of my life, but really who wouldn't want to be Eloise) Last year I traveled about 30,000 miles, this year I've been here and there. That being said, I am a pro at getting through the airport and loading up. This is a sneak peak at a soon to come blog post, so here is the trailer version of it. Enjoy!

1. you need to organize your bag in such a way that your carry on never needs to be opened. And your personal bag has your laptop and liquids at the top. (Be ready to pull these out and ready to roll)

2.I get cold on the plane, wear and oversized flannel. It's like wearing a blanket.  (I have also been told to wear a large scarf, but I am not a scarf gal)

3. wear shoes you can easily slip off so you can zip through security.

4.under your liquids and laptop should be headphones and a book that you want to readon the flight. (You don't want to bother the person next to you digging around)

5. Depending on how much you value your time, invest in TSA precheck. (That was my lifesaver this morning)

6. If you do not want to be stuck talking to a dud the whole trip, wait until the plane is about to land. (I never talk to people on the plane, but I have met a handful of people who have met their sig other on a plane)

7. Do not ask the air attendant for anything before the flight takes off. I always see peopel trying to get a head start on beverages. They can nawt  do it, don't try. It is embarrassing.

8. You can use a duffel bag as a carry on. This tip was life changing to me. I only did it for my Europe trip, but it works. I only got called out once. (I would not push the limit on this though)

9. Bring an empty water bottle with you. Your skin will dry out, so this will help, and you do not have to pay 10 dollars for a bottle!

10.  There is no reason to pay for luggage. You can pack everything in a carry on, trust me.

11. Shoes are your enemy. they are hard to pack so always wear your biggest pair.

12. Bags are your friend. I always put the most important things in little ziplock bags (personables).

13. Do not drink coffee before your flight. I always want to sleep on the plane, it might be tempting to buy it before your flight but DONT. (Get the mimosa instead ;) )

14. If you are a die hard tea drinker bring your own tea bags. It is so great, especially because I can not get my favorite tea everywhere.

15. Book through google flights, hands down the easiest to use.

Good luck on your next trip! Can not wait to hear about it!

  6. Excellent tips! I always only carry on. I also his my purse in my backpack so that my carry on goes in the overhead, and I get 3 things in the cabin of the plane.

  7. The inn has a completely cooled, bar, ice machine, free day by day news paper, in room small scale bar, official level and some more. This is beside the 24 hour security and front work area lodging they give. https://lutonairportparking.uk.com
